Poster Postcard
the poster & Postcard
For the senior show exhibition poster, I took an illustrative approach. During the ideation phase, I considered all of the classes that are involved in the Penn College Graphic Design program. During these classes, we learned everything from design fundamentals, wayfinding, and branding. I wanted the poster to fully communicate the expansiveness of a Penn College Education in Graphic Design. As for the stylization of these core concepts, I decided to use an isometric grid to create all of the icons. In addition to the isometric grid. I also added a three-dimensional element to express the depth of learning that takes place during the 4 years of education.
The creative Process
Let's StartThinking & Sketching
During my initial planning of the poster, I thought about everything that I had learned during my time at Penn College. During this, I realized that the only way to do the poster justice was to include elements from the wide variety of classes the program offered.
